Well, that's not strictly true, it all started on an Apple ][e way back when, then somehow I got into Unix, sysadmin stuff, and of course Zangband and whatnot (I wanted to learn the vi keys better, and roguelikes were a) free and b) actually runnable on a mac) and then the 2009 macbook finally died in 2022 so now I'm on OpenBSD.
